Jessica Rodgers, Ed. S, M.Ed, LCMHC + Owner

Jessica is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. She understands the importance of meeting her clients exactly where they are in a judgement-free zone. Jessica helps her clients identify what isn't working, while helping them to clarify what 'working' looks life. In her approach she explores habits, triggers, and any barriers stopping clients from achieving their desired goals. Jessica is an action-based counselor, meaning that she loves to be interactive with her clients in-session and challenges them with homework assignments outside of session.

Jessica uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with most clients, as well as the Existential approach to counseling. This means that she looks at the relationship between her client's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, while also exploring their values and purpose.

Jessica attended graduate school at the University of Florida where she obtained an Educational Specialist degree, as well as a Masters of Education with a major in Mental Health Counseling. She obtained her Bachelor degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University. Before working in private practice, she has worked in various mental health settings, such as substance abuse treatment centers, schools, in-home, and a prison.

"I live by the philosophy that the opportunities are endless. This is how I position my work with clients. If I can instill that hope in them, then the hard part is already done."

"Jessica is such an amazing therapist and really helped me learn ways to deal with my past trauma/letting go issues. I have been to therapists before and because of my profession they think well “you already know this”. Jessica however actively listened, encouraged, and met me where I was without throwing my profession in the mix. I am forever grateful to have had Jessica as my therapist."
